BioYou know that quiet, reserved individual at gatherings who prefers to stand in a corner alone, only associating with a few select people? That’s me.
I like to keep to myself for the most part and I can even seem anti-social at times. For me to be unnoticed is the way I prefer things; tending to remain off to the side and not speaking unless spoken to. I do have great opinions on many things, but I only occasionally voice them. I’ve learned that arguing typically is pointless, so I tend to avoid arguments altogether. I really don’t let little problems upset me much and have developed a rather blasé attitude toward such things.
On the contrary, though everything above is true, don’t make me out for a problem-free sociopath that is afraid to speak his mind. While I usually do not prefer conversing with strangers, I am not a society-fearing person. I admit that I like to get to know someone before being comfortable enough to talk at length with them. If one has an interesting enough personality, I can even enjoy long, deep and/or intelligent conversations. As my friends and associates know, I am a smart, warm-hearted (usually), funny-as-hell guy. I am a self-proclaimed "smart-ass extraordinaire" and I don’t always keep my opinions to myself. If I find it necessary to make a point or bring something to one’s attention, I certainly will without hesitation. Also, while I don’t always let little annoyances and problems get to me, it does not mean I never get agitated. Not even close. I may be a very caring individual towards some, but I can be downright evil toward others that piss me off. Any derogatory comments, mean looks, etcetera made toward myself or even my friends or loved ones will likely provoke unwanted hostility from me that I am glad to deliver.
So, to recap, I am a quiet but opinionated, caring but cold, reserved but pissed off guy with many other good qualities. . . and I love Metal music, video games, sports and writing. If you actually wish to know more, feel free to ask.
